Location:The ideal candidate will reside in Raleigh/ Durham, North Carolina.
How you'll make an impact:You will handle various aspects of field service support and customer relationships within our Laboratory Equipment (LE) division. You will provide sophisticated services on laboratory equipment, including the following:
Repair, install, and maintain various laboratory equipment products, including temperature monitoring, incubators, centrifuges, refrigerators, freezers, and cryogenic storage.Work directly with customers to schedule visits, address their concerns, and provide reassurance while resolving their problems.Completing learning assignments on time, reading procedures, submitting expense reports, and maintaining spare part inventory.Benefits and Travel:Field Service Engineers (FSEs) are "remote" colleagues since they commute daily to customer sites to provide service. FSEs are provided with a Company (Fleet) vehicle to allow for daily travel to multiple customer locations in their defined service area. Overnight travel of approximately 10% is required to service customers and participate in training programs.
Education:Advantageous to have a certification, associate's, or bachelor's in HVAC, electronics, or engineering.
