We have an industry-leading pipeline and comprehensive portfolio of products for cardiac and vascular care. We are recruiting for a **Field Service** **Engineer with German** to be responsible for the installation, upgrade, repair and preventative maintenance of Vascular capital equipment. Working closely with the central dispatch team as well as sales/clinical colleagues, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction through service excellence. This will be a full-time, field-based role requiring regular travelling across assigned territory (Poland + support to Germany and Austria). **What You'll do:** + Hardware/software field support: includes site inspection and site preparation, system installation, maintenance, calibration, upgrades,troubleshootingandrepair, also includes demo system maintenance and preparation for congresses. + Documentfield serviceinterventions perQA systemrequirements. + Reportcapital equipmentincidents perQA systemrequirements. + Provide support and technical assistance for in-housetrainingcourses and congresses. + Provide system maintenance andtroubleshootingtrainingto customerbiomedical engineeringdepartments and Abbott sales and field clinical staff. + Extensive national and international travel required based as per business need. **Required qualifications & background:** + A Bachelors degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, engineering or similar is preferred, but relevant experience considered. + Prior experience inmedical electronicsservice or relatedfield serviceis required (medical devices/software based medical systems would be advantageous). + Strong electronic andmechanical engineeringskills includingtroubleshooting. + Computerskills:MSOffice, Linux. + Familiarity with Cathlab/operating room procedures/protocols would be advantageous. + Willingness to beflexible, respond at short notice toschedulingrequirements, work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment. + Fluent English, Polish and German (both written and spoken). + Ability to travel (up to 80% of time).
