Field Service Engineer

As a **Field Service Engineer** in the **New Zealand** , you’ll directly support healthcare teams by ensuring our devices operate safely, reliably, and compliantly. If you’re energized by hands‑on technical work and motivated by making a real‑world impact in hospitals and clinical environments, this role offers both challenge and purpose. **What You Will Do** + **Repair and test** electronic and mechanical Stryker devices to manufacturer specifications. + **Complete** annual checks, calibrations, and preventive maintenance activities onsite in line with regulatory requirements. + **Install** Stryker systems and **perform** hardware and software upgrades at customer locations. + **Document** all service activities accurately to ensure full traceability and compliance. + **Support** internal and external customers by delivering technical assistance and training. + **Manage** your service schedule in coordination with Customer Service to meet service contract commitments. + **Action** product recalls, field safety notices, and field action requirements in collaboration with regulatory teams. + **Escalate** service opportunities, product issues, and customer insights to relevant internal teams for follow‑up. **What You Will Need** **Required** + Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Medical Electronics, Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications, Mechanical, Software, Medical Physics, or a related technology field. + A valid driver’s license is required. **Preferred** + Experience in medical electronics, healthcare technology, or a hospital environment. + Experience using administrative and technical IT systems. **Additional Information** + This role requires regular travel within the assigned region. + Work takes place across varied environments, including workshops, hospitals, and operating theatres. + Electrical licensing in New Zealand is required based on the electrical work performed.
