If you’re ready to travel the world, solve complex engineering challenges, and support a global install base of over 30,000 vessels, this is your moment. Based in the UK, you’ll primarily serve customers across Europe, with occasional assignments further afield.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Execute field service activities according to work plans.
· Perform overhauls and repairs on-site or in workshops.
· Professionally engage with customers throughout service delivery.
· Provide internal and external updates on job progress.
· Create detailed Service Work Reports.
· Ensure all work complies with Wärtsilä QEHS guidelines and site procedures.
· Report on work order status to customers and internal teams.
· Continuously seek smarter, safer, and more efficient solutions.
What You Bring to the Table
· A safety-first mindset and a collaborative spirit.
· A degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering—or equivalent maritime experience.
· Hands-on technical experience in marine engineering and problem-solving.
· Proven expertise in installation, operation, maintenance, and repair.
· Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
· Experience with propulsion shaft alignment and Stern Tube Bearings is a plus.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
· Willingness to travel extensively.
· UK citizenship (SC clearance required).

· Contribution to order intake, net sales, and EBIT for SLS.
· Achievement of KPIs set by the FS Manager and FS Area Manager EUAM.
