As a Sr. Associate I, Field Technical Service Engineering supporting our Engineering function, you will be trusted to ensure Alcon surgical equipment performs optimally at customer sites and demo locations. Based in Bucarest, you will play a critical role in maintaining equipment performance, driving customer satisfaction, and supporting innovation. Please note that this role requires to travel/drive all over the country according to the business needs.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Alcon surgical equipment.Performing preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades in line with company standards.Managing your daily schedule and communications with customers, dispatch, and internal teams.Documenting service activities and escalating complex issues to engineering teams.Supporting compliance by strictly following SOPs and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.Proven experience in field service engineering or technical support roles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.Commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous learning.
