Job Description
This role involves being the go-to technical expert for advanced desense technology, specifically high-powered microwave systems used in Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (CUAS) to counter drones. The position requires setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting these systems, whether in a lab, field, or overseas. You will work closely with engineers and operators, installing updates, running diagnostics, and training others on the equipment. The role is hands-on and requires comfort with electronics, RF systems, and reading technical manuals. Military experience or experience in rugged environments is highly beneficial.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and maintain advanced desense technology systems.Troubleshoot systems in various environments including labs, fields, and overseas.Install updates and run diagnostics on equipment.Train engineers and operators on system usage.Collaborate with engineers, operators, and clients to ensure optimal system performance.Travel internationally and domestically approximately 30-40% of the time, including 3 weeks of international travel and 5 weeks of domestic travel annually.Essential SkillsTroubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and software systems.Experience with electronics and radio frequency systems.Preventive maintenance and installation expertise.Active Secret Clearance (present inactive clearance if necessary).BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.1+ years of military or professional experience in high-pressure environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with high power RF systems and signal propagation.Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.Ability to deploy domestically and internationally on short notice.Strong communication skills for interfacing with engineers, operators, and clients.Work Environment
The position is fully onsite in Torrance, CA. It involves working with cutting-edge technology in a high-growth environment. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
