Job Responsibilities

The role of the Field Sales Manager is to lead and motivate the sales team, implement (trade) marketing strategies , and ensure sales targets are met.

Report:

The Field Sales Manager Belux will report to the Head Of Sell-Out Benelux.

 Staff:

10 Account Managers Belux

3 External Account Managers Convenience BE

Key Metrics:

Quantitative:

•Min 1 day/week of field coaching

•Sell in volumes for key actions

•Sell out and Numeric distribution

Qualitative

•To lead and monitor the CRM and PROFS segmentation processes

•Ensure clear KPI dashboards on a monthly base and professional presentation during field meetings on all sales KPI’s.

•RSP follow up

Knowledge and Abilities

•Leading a team of internal and external Account Managers and coaching and mentoring them in their respective area.

•Liaising with upper management ensuring sales targets are met with clear sales decks.

•Analyzing current marketplace and feeding back important market and competitive information.

•Training Sales Team on sales techniques, daily organization, administration and products.

•Ensure a professional and clear structure for the monitoring of all sales and distribution targets.

•Planning, target setting, executing and managing sales strategies (promotional, pirate & visibility)

•Frequent collaboration with Benelux management peers to share insights, best practices & WOW.

•Developing existing customers and identifying new business opportunities. Accelerate on new channels with potential such as the Liquor Stores and Convenience.

•Work with (trade) marketing team to deliver improvements in brand engagement scores across Belgium by sharing proactively feedback & insights from the field that could help improve our vision & approach.

Skills and Qualifications

•Strong communication & presentation skills

•Entrepreneur, mature & strong personality with hands on mentality

•In depth understanding of sales principles

•Experienced user of sales CRM systems like Salesforce, Qliksense & Convivio

•Experience in leading and managing a team (or talented people manager & eager to learn)

•Experience in dealing with Belux Off trade customers & Liquor Stores

•Formal sales training

•Proven successful sales experience

•Ideally a Bachelor or Masters Degree in business areas such as management, marketing or economics

•Trilingual: French, Dutch and English
