A leading global leader in freight forwarding and logistics is expanding its commercial team and seeking highly qualified candidates for the Sales Manager position for Oceania to be based in Sydney or Brisbane.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive sales activities across nominated verticals and geographies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Identify and convert new customers while expanding company’s share of wallet with existing accounts.
Generate leads and build a strong pipeline aligned with short, medium, and long?term sales strategies.
Manage customer relationships through regular engagement, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, operations, and key account teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Offer value?added services and cross?sell opportunities to optimize the logistics value chain.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to support commercial growth.
Prepare proposals, pricing, and contracts while contributing to new product and service initiatives.
Requirements:
At least 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding with a focus on sales, customer solutions, and key account management.
Proven ability in lead generation, pipeline planning, and developing strong client relationships.
Tertiary qualifications with strong commercial acumen and advanced negotiation skills.
Highly organized, process?driven, and able to manage priorities under pressure.
Strong communication skills, strategic mindset, and commitment to customer service excellence.
