The Account manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships and bookings with our current and prospective clients, identifying new opportunities for value creation within assigned accounts, and understanding the specific needs and challenges of various collaborators within those accounts
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ **Account management.** Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with account collaborators, ensuring high levels of customer happiness and dedication. Develop and implement account plans to acquire accounts, identify product white spaces, build demand, and identify green- or brownfield project opportunities.
+ **Collaborator engagement** , Identify the key collaborators within customer organizations, understand their roles, responsibilities, and influence, and foster relationships between them and the various Emerson sales personas.
+ **Needs assessment.** Conduct detailed needs assessments in collaboration with Business Development Managers to identify customer pains, problems, and challenges that our products or solutions can address. Understand the customer’s business drivers and process/operational environment.
+ **Solution presentation.** Present and differentiate customized solutions to collaborators, showcasing how our products can address their individual requirements and resolve their issues.
+ **Identification and pursuit of opportunities.** Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts from lead to PO, focusing on improving the potential of our product portfolio, including filling white space and generating new demand for our products and services.
+ **Collaboration.** Work closely with the support team, BDMs, and specialists to ensure high quality customer conversations and solution and services development. Assign ownership of sophisticated or long lead pursuits to Solutions BDMs or project pursuit leaders. Support and guide BDMs in reaching the vital decision makers in the customer’s organization.
+ **Price.** Realize price through using the portfolio to create customer value. Define account strategies balancing price and volume.
+ **Market Insights.** Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market demands.
+ **Reporting.** Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all account activities, opportunities, product life cycle management, and sales forecasts in CRM or other sales tech systems.
**Who You Are:**
+ Someone who is keen on developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the outstanding needs of different audiences.
**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Engineering degree or equivalent experience or comparable technical education.
+ At least 3 years of sales experience in the industrial market.
+ Strong PC user.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
+ Be a dedicated, self-motivated sales professional.
+ Be a teammate willing to work with other salespeople in the industry, region, and globally.
+ Proficient in English.
+ Willing to travel in the region and internationally. Willingness to travel (50% to 75% of time)
+ Driver's license
