About the Role

We are seeking a Field Safety Technician to join our team in Sabine Pass, TX. This role is critical in supporting our Safety & Health (S&H) Operations Readiness initiatives and ensuring a strong safety culture across all site operations.

Key Responsibilities Report to the Safety and Health Supervisor. Support and implement S&H programs (e.g., Safety Refresh, IH Programs, FLS Safety Leadership, Human Performance, LSA, LMRA, JSA). Lead and coach employees and contractors in safety best practices. Conduct SSH&E orientations for new site personnel and visitors. Interface with internal departments and external contractors. Review and enhance safety policies and procedures. Execute field safety programs including behavior-based safety, permit audits, toolbox talks, etc. Conduct hazard identification walks and support resolution efforts. Analyze safety metrics and recommend focus areas. Lead and participate in incident investigations. Promote site recognition and rewards programs. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a Safety Technician or similar role. Degree or equivalent experience in Occupational Safety and Health. Experience with lifting/rigging, crane operations, confined space, working at height, and LEL environments. Proficient in work permitting (e.g., LOTO, confined space, elevated work). Strong data analysis and reporting skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Power BI and Microsoft Forms. Excellent communication and organizational skills. OSHA 30 & OSHA 510 certifications preferable.  Additional Requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs frequently. Ability to work in potentially stressful environments. Must wear required PPE (FRC, hard hat, safety glasses, etc.). Pre-employment and random drug testing required. TWIC card required. Reliable transportation for commuting between pipeline locations.
