We boast one of the largest inventories of modern lifting equipment in North America, in excess of 1000 units.The Field Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and promoting workplace safety across field operations. This role ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations, as well as company safety policies. The Field Safety Supervisor will work closely with field crews, project managers, and leadership to provide training, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and foster a culture of safety that prioritizes the well-being of employees, contractors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular field safety inspections, audits, and jobsite observations to identify hazards and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training for field personnel.
Partner with operations teams to develop and implement job hazard analyzes (JHAs) and safe work procedures.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with corrective action recommendations.
Serve as a resource to field supervisors and employees on safety concerns, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
Track, analyze, and report safety metrics, including participation in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Enforce safety policies and escalate violations or noncompliance issues as necessary.
Assist with regulatory inspections (e.g., OSHA) and customer safety audits.
Stay current with changes in safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Promote a proactive safety culture through visibility in the field, positive reinforcement, and coaching employees on safe behaviors.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
3–5 years of experience in field safety supervision, preferably in construction, heavy equipment, or industrial operations.
Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and other applicable federal/state/local safety regulations.
Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP, CHST, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and coach employees at all levels.
Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety reporting software.
Ability to travel frequently to field sites within assigned region.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Frequent walking, standing, and climbing on jobsites.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
