About this Role

Field Runner

 

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is looking for an experienced Field Runner to support field operations by transporting materials, tools, equipment, and documentation between job sites, warehouses, suppliers, and offices. Operate Class A commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT and company requirements while supporting regular, overtime, and storm restoration work

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites, warehouses, vendors, and officesOperate Class A CDL vehicles in accordance with DOT and company standardsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsMaintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and required documentationLoad, secure, and unload materials in compliance with cargo securement regulationsAssist field crews with basic labor tasks as neededMaintain company vehicles in a clean and safe operating conditionCommunicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and warehouse personnelWork overtime and extended hours as requiredTravel for storm and emergency restoration work as required What You'll Bring

Skills and Qualifications:

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Card (Med Card)Clean driving record meeting company and DOT standardsAbility to pass DOT physical, drug and alcohol screening, and background checkAbility to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs (or more with assistance)Strong time-management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and follow verbal and written instructionsReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsWillingness to work overtime as neededWillingness to travel for storm and emergency restoration workStrong commitment to safety and complianceDependable work ethic and team-first mindset

 

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferredExperience operating commercial vehicles in a construction or utility environment preferred

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

Experience in electrical, utility, or construction environmentsFamiliarity with flatbeds, trailers, and job site logisticsForklift or equipment operation experience What You'll Get
