Role Overview

Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures to meet daily operational plans. Implement daily work objectives, including housekeeping, safety, health, environmental, and security protocols. Participate actively in daily toolbox meetings and regular safety meetings. Identify and implement corrective actions through continuous surveillance of wells and equipment. Function as Equipment Care Technician, performing simple maintenance activities. Report any alarm or emergency shutdown system malfunctions. Provide clear and accurate shift change information to ensure operational continuity. Coordinate and monitor maintenance jobs according to planning schedules. Log all relevant operational events and abnormal situations in the logbook. Take product samples for laboratory analysis and conduct field tests. Engage in emergency response activities and report incidents per guidelines. Maintain communication with the Operations Shift Supervisor regarding operational activities. Ensure thorough diagnostics of well problems before requesting intervention operations. Maintain wellhead and surface equipment in good working order prior to Wellwork operations. Support ongoing Wellwork operations as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

Operator Background: Previous experience as a Field Technician. Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication abilities. Safety Awareness: High standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude. Pipeline Operations Knowledge: Understanding of pipeline operations. Safety Management Tools: Familiarity with safety and operations management processes. Emergency Preparedness: Knowledge of emergency preparedness procedures. Regulatory Understanding: Awareness of relevant regulations and commercial agreements.

Education & Experience

Education: Completed secondary education. Experience: Previous work experience as a Field Technician is required.
