**Overview** **Field Operations Manager** **Job Summary:** The Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of janitorial services across multiple facilities or client sites. This role ensures high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction while managing staff, supplies, and budgets efficiently. **Key Responsibilities:** + Supervise janitorial staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. + Develop and implement cleaning protocols and quality control procedures. + Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards. + Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and maintenance. + Coordinate with clients or facility managers to address service needs and resolve issues. + Monitor labor costs and operational budgets to ensure cost-effective service delivery. + Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. + Respond to emergency cleaning needs and adjust staffing or resources as necessary. + Prepare reports on operational performance, staffing, and client satisfaction. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. + 3+ years of experience in janitorial or facilities management, with supervisory responsibilities. + Strong leadership and organizational skills. + Excellent communication and customer service abilities. + Proficiency in scheduling software and basic office applications. + Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures. **Preferred Skills:** + Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. + Experience managing unionized staff (if applicable). + Familiarity with green cleaning practices and sustainability initiatives.
