Field Operations Manager, External Fulfillment Operations

The Field Operations Manager is the leader of the field operational support team of External Fulfillment (EF). This role's scope includes oversight of high-volume and high-risk operations, ensuring compliance with Amazon standards, and maintaining strong relationships with partners.
In this role, you are responsible for: i) defining operational metrics goals, ii) driving sellers and vendors to meet these goals, iii) leading business reviews, iv) leading initiatives and mechanisms to improve order scheduling and hand over adherence, v) solve blockers for scaling, vi) advocating for seller and vendor experience bringing data and anecdotes, vii) benchmarking best practices with other countries.
In this role, you will lead a team that visits partner's premises to inspect the operational procedures and controls, inventory and resources dedicated to Amazon and coaches our partners to improve productivity, reduce errors and invest to support growth.
Key job responsibilities
- Define annual goals for the key metrics
- Define weekly roster of on site visits deciding the right priorities
- Inspect metrics daily and lead actions to bridge gaps
- Provide direction to your team
- Influence EF programs (Easy Ship, Seller Flex, PCP, Vendor Flex, Direct Fulfillment) strategy to improve speed and reduce defects
- Plan headcount to support growth
- Coach your team
- Obtain resources and remove blockers to accomplish your goals goals

You will connect with your team, define priorities, accompany on- site visits, participate in business reviews with different audiences, manage competing priorities, solve problems, contribute to projects and improvement actions, inspect KPIs and dive deep in defects, write documents, meet with peer teams from other countries

This position is part of External Fulfillment Operations team, has eight direct reports and five peers L5+ peers. Our team works hard, have fun together and are making history scaling our work at a fast pace, while improving our metrics year over year. We are passionate for challenges and opportunities to improve customer, seller and vendor experience.
