The Field Operations Examiner (FOE), Senior reviews Branch Assessments completed by the FOE team. This role assists with oversight of daily responsibilities for the FOEs, providing regular communication and feedback to the Segment Risk Manager. In addition, this senior colleague provides other risk related duties as assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conducts Branch Assessments for assigned branches; completes required documentation of assessment findings and captures results in the assessment database.
Provides written reports to Branch Leadership and Retail Service Operations Leadership.
Reviews, communicates and oversees risk-related reporting to branches, Branch Leadership, and Retail Service Operations Leadership.
Identifies common themes and reports them to management to improve overall risk mitigation.
Maintains proficiency of all operating policies and procedures including full knowledge of core operating systems.
Serves as a liaison with Audit, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Service Operations on related operational issues.
Collaborates with Segment Risk Manager and other partners to identify and mitigate policy or procedure gaps.
Provides required documentation to appropriate Risk Partners for control tests.
Participates on project teams for strategic initiatives as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data science or related field
5+ years' experience in banking industry, risk, or operations experience
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of finance industry or operations management experience
