**Job Description Summary** Responsible for leading a Team of Field Engineer/ Supervisor for activities on construction sites, related to installation of High Voltage equipment in international large-scale Projects. Focus will be on HVDC Converter Transformers & HVDC Valve Equipment. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the site works. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. Join us and enjoy playing a major role to enhance the Central Europe Construction & Commissioning function with fresh ideas and make your footprint in our projects. **Mission description** **In particular, the mission consists to:** + Your main mission will be to lead a Team of Supervisor for Installation works on construction sites for the installation of High Voltage equipment in international large-scale Projects. Focus will be on HVDC Converter Transformers and HVDC Valve Equipment. + Beside leading the Team, you will be on construction sites to do supervision for the installation of HVDC equipment, depending on the future growth of the Team. + Preparation and planning of installation activities in early project stages + Manage and guide subcontractors/technicians on site to ensure completion of all installation activities efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements + Contribute to planning and implementation of installation activities on site and maintain good relationships to internal and external stakeholders + Coordinate the installation activities with the Site Manager/Installation Manager and other internal and external stakeholders on site, e.g. with the Warehouse Manager + Coordinate with engineering office to assure needed documentation is used at site during execution and provide mark-ups for as-built project documentation + Resolve technical issues. Interface with Procurement and Engineering to resolve technical issues. + Perform quantity take-off and verification of field procured items and progress reporting + Review and approve subcontractor inspection and test plans (ITPs), Review and maintain records on construction installations and testing. + Generate and close punchlist items. + You will be living GEV’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business **Your background**   + You have a technical education, preferably with a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or have acquired previous experience in electrical- or mechanical installation work in large scale projects + Experience from previous supervision position is advantageous + Previous experience in electrical and/or mechanical installation is required + Previous experience from HVDC, FACTS or Substation projects are preferred + Proficiency in English is must, written and spoken alike, whereas additional languages (German) are a plus **What we offer** + Working in an international team within Grid Systems Integration.A key role in the Regional Construction and Commissioning Team in a dynamic, international working environment with an opportunity to grow.Competitive benefits, great development opportunities. **Additional Information** **Relocation Assistance Provided:** No \#LI-Remote - This is a remote position GE Vernova is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
