In this role, you will provide technical expertise for the Point of Entry family of systems, supporting installation, maintenance, and field-related sustainment work worldwide.
Field Engineer, Associate Principal: BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7
Field Engineer, Senior Lead: BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5
Field Engineer, Full Performance Senior: BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
What You'll Be Doing:
Support system installation, upgrades, refreshes, and maintenance at Point of Entry sites globallyPerform diagnostics, repairs, and asset inventory for field-related sustainment and logistical workParticipate in testing and evaluation of software and hardware upgrades at the warehouse laboratory and test bedConduct site surveys to collect data for successful system deployment planning and executionExecute both software and hardware maintenance, as well as infrastructure (electrical systems, HVAC, generators) installation and sustainmentPerform Preventive Maintenance, Checks, and Services (PMCS) to ensure optimal system performanceConduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode Effects, Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to improve maintenance proceduresProvide technical support to the help desk for remote problem resolutionWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearanceBachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of experience in field engineering or technical support rolesProficiency in hardware and software maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of complex systemsExperience with infrastructure installation and sustainment (electrical systems, HVAC, generators)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysisWillingness to travel up to 30% internationally.Must have an active Passport.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience with predictive maintenance technologies such as thermography and ultrasonicsFamiliarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Knowledge of government contracting processes and proceduresMulti-lingual capabilities for international deploymentsActive PolygraphSecurity Clearance Requirement:
