As the Field Application Specialist (FAS) – Genomic Sequencing, you will be responsible for the provision of first line technical support for our Genomic Sequencing portfolio. Proactively partner with internal technical support teams to ensure customer needs are achieved in a timely manner and appropriately documented. This position provides technical expertise and education to new and existing customers of our NGS portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide on-site and remote technical expertise to the FAS team, including pre-sales consultation, installation, training and troubleshootingProvide hands-on product training and documentation for new or modified workflows to customer LaboratoriesDocument all necessary customer-facing activity in CRM systemsApply expert knowledge of subject matter practices, assay performance, and troubleshooting principles and practices and provides technical guidance and direction to cross functional teamsProvide scientific/technical consultations with customers to ensure they understand and are comfortable using Roche Sequencing productsReport on activities in the field on a regular basis to managementMonitor technical trends and competitive products in the market

You have:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Scientific or Medical FieldPrevious experience working in a Genomic Sequencing laboratory is essentialKnowledge of bioinformatics and NGS data analysisAbility to work independently on multiple tasks of complex scope with minimal to no guidance or supervisionExcellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to manage cross functional activities and stakeholders including Sales, Support, Regional and Global counterparts
