That’s what makes us Roche. + Experience in laboratory Genomic Sequencing + Customer-experience focused field role + Supportive & dynamic team and manager ​ As the Field Application Specialist (FAS) – Genomic Sequencing, you will be responsible for the provision of first line technical support for our Genomic Sequencing portfolio. Proactively partner with internal technical support teams to ensure customer needs are achieved in a timely manner and appropriately documented. This position provides technical expertise and education to new and existing customers of our NGS portfolio. **Key responsibilities include:** + Provide on-site and remote technical expertise to the FAS team, including pre-sales consultation, installation, training and troubleshooting + Provide hands-on product training and documentation for new or modified workflows to customer Laboratories + Document all necessary customer-facing activity in CRM systems + Apply expert knowledge of subject matter practices, assay performance, and troubleshooting principles and practices and provides technical guidance and direction to cross functional teams + Provide scientific/technical consultations with customers to ensure they understand and are comfortable using Roche Sequencing products + Report on activities in the field on a regular basis to management + Monitor technical trends and competitive products in the market **Who you are:** As a results-driven customer centric individual, you can think through problems and consider the impact of solutions and are able to build strong collaborative relationships with your customers. As a Field Application Specialist, you are expected to: + Share knowledge with respective internal and external stakeholders + Demonstrate strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset + Be customer focused, working to drive positive outcomes for both our customers and patients ​ **You have:** + Degree or equivalent qualification in Scientific or Medical Field + Previous experience working in a Genomic Sequencing laboratory is essential + Knowledge of bioinformatics and NGS data analysis + Ability to work independently on multiple tasks of complex scope with minimal to no guidance or supervision + Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders + Demonstrated ability to manage cross functional activities and stakeholders including Sales, Support, Regional and Global counterparts This field-based role requires full eligibility **to live and work in Australia.** At Roche Diagnostics Australia, we are proud of our recent gender pay gap results and remain committed to promoting an equitable and inclusive recruitment and people practices that empower our people to be the best version of themselves.
