Our Clinical Diagnostic Division (CDD) is looking for its new Field Application Specialist (H/ F) for East of Spain.

Position Summary:

The Field Applications Specialist (FAS) will ensure efficient use of appropriate technologies, products and services, giving support and advice to the customers and final users. This FAS position will also provide support and training to the Sales Team.

The FAS position is responsible for providing in-depth scientific and technical support regarding the solutions, analyzers, and reagents supplied, ensuring our customers’ needs are met and matched to our capabilities.

Remote position based in Barcelona area.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical and service support for instrumentation and reagents.Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports.Application and field support (Troubleshooting, installing application, perform product validation, solving customer problems, follow up on customer needs/problems).Carry out customer visits to resolve product and technical issues.Leading technical product specification & application discussions with clients & prospects.Providing effective training activities & workshops on applications and instrumentation.Supporting Sales activities in product troubleshooting & complaint handling / investigation activities including the provision of data and feedback to Sales Support.Leading on all aspects of qualification/validation studies & programs initiated with the clients in collaboration with internal functional groups, as may be applicable.

Minimum requirements, qualifications and skills:

Master’s degree, PhD (or equivalent) in analytical chemistry, molecular biology or life sciences.Experience of working within Bio-Technical / Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical/ Biological, Medicine, Chemical and/or bio-pharmaceutical industries.Field and / or hotline experience in customer support before and / or after sales.Knowledge of analytical equipment in the field of in vitro diagnostics or in a regulated environment.Strong collaborative approach, ability to work remotely / independently, excellent communication skills and ability to efficiently prioritize workload and emergencies.Fluent English (written & spoken) and ideally other European Languages (French would be a plus)Willingness to travel up to 60% of time, in the defined territory and in other areas as needed, which could include international trips.Valid driver's license.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
