DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Field Applications Scientist to provide technical support and training for our analytical and scientific solutions. In this role, you'll collaborate with sales teams and customers to deliver demonstrations, applications support, and training that enables research and innovation. You'll serve as a scientific advisor, helping customers optimize their workflows and maximize the value of their investments while contributing to our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Working across multiple technology platforms, you'll provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales technical expertise, conduct product demonstrations, develop new applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and build relationships with customers. Your role will involve working with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, R&D, and product management to ensure customer success and drive business growth through technical excellence.
In this role, you will:
Collaborate with sales teams and customers to deliver high-quality technical supportConduct product demonstrations showcasing our analytical and scientific solutionsProvide comprehensive applications support to optimize customer workflowsDeliver training sessions to enable research and innovationServe as a scientific advisor to customers- Help customers optimize their workflows for maximum efficiencyWork across multiple technology platforms- Provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales technical expertiseBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers- Understand customer needs and translate them into effective solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams - Work closely with sales, marketing, R&D, and product managementStay current with industry trends and technological advancements- Continuously update knowledge of analytical techniques and applicationsManage multiple priorities and projectsBalance customer support, demonstrations, training, and internal responsibilitiesThis role requires a combination of scientific expertise, technical problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strong customer-focused mindset. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our cutting-edge technologies and our customers' research and analytical needs.
