Act as the first contact point for technical inquiries related to Thales’s products & SolutionsCollaborate with sales/marketing by providing technical advice/presentations and demonstrations for the business engagement Work closely with customers to analyse their requirements and recommend appropriate Thales’s products and solutions Ensure active support to the customer throughout all the development and integration phases by providing on-site and remote technical support Ensure project follow-up and be the technical referent for the integration. Drive problem analysis and resolution in collaboration with other Thales teams.Stay up to date with industry trends, standards, regulations and ensure field feedback to the teamsAnticipate, define and drive the development of tools/middleware required for customer integrations.Leverage on skills, knowledge, expertise and project experience to contribute to Thale’s product roadmap and strategy. Follow-up and control the progress of projects under his/her scope. Communicate, plan, report and ensure the internal stakeholders and management.Minimum requirements:
Master’s degree in Electronical Engineering, Telecommunications or Computer Science5 years minimum experience in similar technical role (R&D engineer, technical support engineer, technical sales engineer or application engineer) Proficiency in languages (e.g. C, C++, Java)Must have experience in device application development (Android, Windows, Chrome)Must have experience in protocol development or testing and on the associated Test, Spy & Analysis tools (oscilloscope, sniffer, etc.)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional and global teams Strong analysis and problem-solving ability with customer-oriented mindsetWrite and speak English fluentlyPreferred requirements:
Familiar with consumer electronic devices/IOT devices, embedded systems, modemsStrong understanding of Smartcard/Secure Element technologies: ISO 7816, Java Card, Global Platform, GSMA standards, ETSI, 3GPP...etc Knowledge on protocols for contact and contactless communication (ISO 14443, BT, BLE, UWB, SPI, I3C)Knowledge on Telecom network architecture, backend system (HSS/BSS) and Over the Air flows#LI-JL1
