Fiduciary Accounting Manager - FTC
Aon are looking to recruit an experienced Fiduciary Accounting Manager on a 12 Months FTC. This role will be a hybrid position with flexibility to work from one of our Aon offices and at home.
This role centers on the interpretation and application of the FCA’s CASS 5 Client Money rules and associated tasks to ensure ongoing compliance. The position involves oversight of month-end processes relating to client money ledger balances, detailed review and analysis, process improvement, and active participation in client money governance committees.

What the day will look like
+ Conduct detailed review of client money calculations and the drawdowns.
+ Review and approve journals and reconciliations, resolving any issues, responding to queries and providing insightful analysis to support the month end reporting process.
+ Review of the client money pack ahead of the Client Money Committee to ensure accurate metrics are provided.
+ Investigate and prepare reports on client money issues and breaches.
+ Lead Client Money Sub Committee meetings.
+ Contributing effectively to discussions at the Client Money Committee and Fiduciary Transactions Clearance Committee.
+ Prepare client money reports for the Audit Committee and SOx 302 submissions.
+ Attend regular meetings with Treasury, Fiduciary Control, Claims and other departments to discuss any client money issues.
+ Providing guidance on the client money rules to colleagues across the wider business.
+ Participate in project work as required, including broking system changes and business integrations.
+ Oversee the annual client money audit, including providing extensive additional documentation and answering queries.
+ Assist with group and statutory audits in respect of client money balances.
+ Support junior members of the team.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Experience with FCA CASS 5 Client Money rules.
+ Background in an auditing, accounting or reporting function.
+ Experience in the insurance or brokerage industry.
+ Strong verbal, organisational and communication skills.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
+ Advance Excel skills.
