Fiber Optic Splicer – Urgently Hiring
Pay: $23–$32/hr
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

We are urgently seeking a Fiber Optic Splicer for a full-time role with a fast-growing telecommunications company located near Poland, Maine. Successful candidates must have prior splicing experience as well as a great attitude and mechanical aptitude.  This is a direct-hire, full time, day shift position.


As a Fiber Optic Splicer, you will:
Prep and splice various fiber cables including OSP, ADSS & OPGW Use OTDR, power meter testing, and fiber identifiers to verify integrity Troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently Maintain safety and quality standards Submit daily performance reports and track field asset usage

You may be a great fit if you have:
High school diploma or GED (required) 2+ years of splicing experience preferred Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to travel overnight during the week as needed A valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, background, and MVR check
