Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York, a leading fertility treatment practice, is seeking a Recovery Room Assistant for our growing Eastside office and will float to our Brooklyn office as needed. 

The Recovery Room Assistant is responsible for:

Monitoring patient flow Escorting patients for procedures Preparing recovery rooms between patients Maintain infection control standards Responding to inquiries from multi-disciplinary medical staff, etc. Ability to assist OR staff with autoclave and patient transfers

Requirements:

High School Diploma is required. One year of related experience is preferred. Prior Recovery Room/ OR/surgical experience is a plus. Nursing Assistant, HHA, or Medical Assistant Certification is a plus. Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Pay $18 per hour 

20-28 hours a week, part time (Vaired. Typically 5-8 hours shifts, any day of week, including weekends)   Ability to multi-task, excellent communication skills, strong computer skills, and understanding of infection control practices is necessary.
