**Job Title: Fence Installer** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Fence Installer to join our team. This role involves the installation of various high-security and commercial-grade fencing systems, including chain link, Stalwart, and ClearVu jigs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fence construction, basic concrete work, and operating heavy equipment. We are willing to train less-experienced individuals. **Responsibilities** + Install commercial fencing systems, including chain link fences, Stalwart anti-ram barriers, and ClearVu high-security fencing with jigs. + Perform layout and measurements to ensure accurate fence placement. + Mix and pour concrete for fence posts and foundations. + Operate construction equipment such as skid steers, augers, and trenchers. + Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications. + Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures. + Maintain tools, equipment, and worksite cleanliness. + Assist with loading/unloading materials and site preparation. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in operating hand and power tools. + Able to stand for 12+ hours a day. + Able to lift up to 75 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in hard physical labor, installation, and general labor. + Skills in construction, assembly, fabrication, carpentry, and tile work. **Why Work Here?** This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest commercial projects in Cedar Rapids history. With 50+ hours a week, the role offers continuous work on exciting projects, and most employees have the opportunity to work their way into a trade. **Work Environment** The work environment is designed to support advanced cloud and AI infrastructure, with a focus on safety. The project is massive with many moving parts, and safety is paramount. The work hours are Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 5 PM, although they will vary as daylight hours change, eventually ending at 4 PM. The team size ranges from 5 to 8 members. The dress code includes long pants, a t-shirt, and leather work boots, with composite or steel-toed boots being ideal. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
