Position Description
Kibali Gold Mine is seeking to recruit a Feasibility Study Manager to join and grow our team. This role will be accountable for the safe delivery of all levels of study work, critically assessing all aspects of the proposed Kibali ARK Project, including technical, economic, financial, legal, political, social and environmental considerations, establishing the viability of the Project and commencing the conceptual, pre-feasibility and feasibility study and associated operations relating to the study delivery.

Responsibilities:
Ensure conceptual, pre-feasibility and feasibility study delivered on time, within budget and in scope.
Ability to conclude study information and outputs into an overall project business case for investment committee consideration.
Complete trade-off studies to support decision making in the different phases of study.
Ensure appropriate governance and assurance structures are in place and effective to guide the study.
Safely delivering maximum value through orebody knowledge, while ensuring a sustainable business plan.
Ensure planning, research, trials and tests and evaluation of the most economic/effective methods/processes to utilize to define the ultimate reserve for public reporting.
Effective management of key external stakeholders, in line with project expectations, timelines and Company Values.
Identification of Project risks and the implementation of effective mitigation strategies.
Effective cost control / capital management.
Implement quality control processes to ensure construction activities adhere to industry standards and project specifications.
Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of team performance and progress to plan, and presentation of results to management / SteerCo.
Ability to conclude study information and outputs into an overall project business case for investment committee consideration.
Manage and report on performance within the department or area of responsibility; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold them accountable for achieving these; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives.
Employing a process driven approach to study whilst leading with a sense of urgency.
Leading multiple personnel and consulting with teams to deliver required targets.
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Geology.
Project management qualification will be advantageous.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
Five (5) years’ relevant experience in supporting the delivery of complex feasibility studies or mining projects with multiple consultancies and stakeholders.
A proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget, with a high attention to detail.
Able to manage and oversee the full lifecycle, with a focus of identifying risks and establishing risk mitigation processes.
