FEA Mechanical Analysis Engineer

Summary: Seeking an FEA Mechanical Analysis Engineer to perform system and sub-system level Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in support of vehicle design optimization.

Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen

Must work 100% onsite

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Proficiency with BetaCAE software suite including ANSA & META

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Nastran, LS-Dyna, and Optistruct for FEA

Knowledge of Static Acceleration, Modal & Direct Transients, Frequency Response Spectrum, Fatigue & Durability analysis methodologies

Familiarity with Static Equivalent Acceleration, Modal Effective Mass & Bolted Joint Analysis

Responsibilities:

Perform FEA for vehicle design optimization at both system and sub-system levels

Analyze stress and dynamics for impact, shock, and vibration environments

Conduct fatigue analysis on structures and components is preferred

Execute stress analysis on structures and appendages

Carry out bolted joint analysis for sizing purposes

Define design load requirements for subsystems and mounting provisions

Generate summary reports following internal department standards

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $51.00 to $69.00 per hour
