The purpose of the fastening engineer is: Lead global fastening tooling and standards to support future programs, campaign prevention, and reaction plans for Ford North America Final Assembly manufacturing facilities. Lead program-specific fastening project and strategy during development phase of the program <PS> through sourcing and Purchase order issuance. Working directly with NA Final Assembly Manufacturing plants. Execute overall fastening strategy, seeing it through to delivery -and- implementation Define, maintain, and update fastening tooling standards Assist in the development of and ensure full alignment on program costing
