What You'll Do

We are seeking a strong candidate with experience and passion to fill an Intern role in the Fashion & Luxury sector Management and Operations (M&O) team. Under the general direction of the Global sector Director, your primary responsibilities will include supporting internal communications, financial tracking, and team coordination. You will work closely with Sector Coordinators, Sector Director, and Practice Area (PA M&O) team, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The individual will have the opportunity to gain experience in the Fashion & Luxury sector, to collaborate with regional and global teams, and to better understand what the core business of consulting entails

 

Key areas of focus include:

Internal Communications: Draft and distribute sector-wide newsletters, updates, and affiliation materials and meeting agendas

Financial & Business Analysis: Support high-level financial tracking, including monitoring and sharing performance metrics. Assist with preparing summary dashboards and reports for leadership.

Affiliation & Database Management: Maintain accurate distribution lists and affiliation records. Ensure timely updates and support coordination of sector calls and alumni lists.

Events & Meetings: Support planning and logistics for sector meetings, roundtables, and calls, including follow-up documentation and preparation of presentations.

What You'll Bring

Current enrollment in/or recent completion of a Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, or related field)

Organized, detail oriented and analytical, good interpersonal and communication skills.

High level of initiative and resourcefulness.

Strong analytical and organizational skills, with experience using Excel for data analysis

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with collaboration tools (Slack, Teams, Salesforce, or similar) is a plus

A professional, proactive, and service-oriented mindset

Interest in the fashion & luxury industry and global business operations



Who You'll Work With

You will collaborate with the Fashion & Luxury sector Coordinator, sector Director, sector leadership, and members of BCG’s core support functions and businesses (e.g., PA Management, Marketing, Finance). This internship offers exposure to both the strategic and operational aspects of BCG’s work in the fashion & luxury sector.

Practice Area Management & Operations team members ensure BCG’s industry and functional practice areas operate efficiently. As part of this team, you will contribute directly to BCG’s success through communications, process management, financial analysis, and coordination activities.

 

In the US, we have a compensation transparency approach.

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.

 

The hourly rate for this role is $21-$24/hr per hour; placement will vary based on experience, skill set, and location. (Confirm if benefits included)
