During this two\-week program, you will work alongside our expert buying teams, gaining first\-hand experience of what it is like to be a Buyer at Ross\. You'll gain hands\-on experience in the office and in the market, learning what it takes to buy brands customers want at great values\. As an additional goal, there are many future full\-time opportunities that await interns upon successful completion of the internship\. The hourly rate for this position is $22\.00\. **What you will do and what you will learn\.\.\.\.** Observe the administrative and operational functions supporting a designated Buyer\. Analyze and interpret key business issues as directed by supervisor including the monitoring of regional merchandise reports, Open\-to\-Buy monitoring, and stock analysis\. Attend market appointments and competitive shopping trips\. Learn our merchandising systems and gain understanding of warehouse processes\.
