Fall 2025 Co-op: Financial Analyst
Position Description:

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Analyst/Project Control Officer to join our TFS – Accounts Control Team. The FA will be responsible for supporting project management activities, ensuring that financial deliverables are completed on time, and meet quality standards. This role requires strong coordination skills, an ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience in project control activities.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, track actual costs against forecasts, and manage financial reporting for the project. Ensure adherence to financial controls and approval processes. Also work on monthly activities such as invoicing, financial forecast, and accounting adjustments.
• Risk and Issue Management: Assist in identifying, monitoring, and managing project risks and issues. Ensure timely escalation and resolution by working closely with stakeholders.
• Resource Management: Help in tracking of resource allocations and availability.
• Documentation & Reporting: Assist/complete monthly status reports, financial reports, and metrics logs. Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
• Change Control: Assist with change management activities and ensuring proper approval processes are followed.
• Client Communication: Work with all levels of Management, communicate and issue resolution, and maintaining client satisfaction.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery within the AMS team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Control Officer (PCO)/Financial Analyst or in a similar project support role.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:
• Moderate/Advanced Excel skills for financial tracking.
