Your Opportunity
We are looking for engineers who are eager to drive innovation. Within the Power Quality team as the FA Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the failure analysis of the power products.
Job Title: Failure Analysis Engineer
Location: Shanghai, China
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform FA through internal/external lab for the failures from NPI projects and customer return. Work with QA and engineering team to understand the failure mode. Generate FA plan, and provide necessary instruction to 3rd party lab for FA. Maintain customer complaint database and generate FA report to customer. Report to PQE manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree or above in material science, electrical, electronic, microelectronic, mechanical engineering, physics, etc. Minimum 1 year working experience in Semiconductor field with IC design house, Foundry or assembly house as FA engineer. Knowledge and experience of IC FA method: X-ray, decap, IROM, EMMI/OBIRCH, Probe test, Cross section, Delayer, FIB, Curve-Trace, etc. Familiar with the usual failure modes from production and reliability tests. Basic understanding of IC fab, assembly and test processes. It’s a plus to be able to read test report. Skillful of generating FA report. Familiar with 8D. Good at verbal and written English communication.
