Responsibilities

The Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Residency Program in Mankato, Minnesota is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Family Medicine teaching physician to join our team. Candidate must be a graduate from a training program with AOA accreditation or Osteopathic Recognition. The residency program cultivates exceptional family medicine physicians dedicated to providing high-quality, collaborative, and patient- and family-centered care who are committed to partnering with their patients and community to achieve health excellence. 

Traditional Osteopathic Family Medicine faculty practice (inpatient/outpatient)Teach full scope Osteopathic Family Medicine in a supportive, community-based, 5-5-5 program with Osteopathic RecognitionTeaching and evaluation of OMT and OPP, with use of OMT in own practiceSupervision of resident prenatal care and OB deliveries is preferredSupervision of residents in inpatient and well newborn nurserySupervision of residents in free clinics, mobile units, and other community-based activitiesGreat opportunities for faculty and professional developmentIntegrated healthcare system focusing on team-based careReasonable call scheduleCommon EHR across all Mayo Clinic sitesComprehensive benefits package and competitive salary guarantee



Qualifications

Qualifications:  Experience preferred.  Must be board certified or board eligible in Osteopathic Family Medicine (AOBFP); licensed or able to obtain a license to practice medicine in Minnesota.

Compensation Detail

The minimum starting salary for primary care specialties may range from $213,250 to $300,363. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
