Fact Finding Engineer for Industrial Generators
**A Snapshot of Your Day** **Siemens Energy is looking for a committed employee tostrengthen our Industrial Generator fact-finding department and take on thedaily challenges of the dynamic service business in region north America.** **How You’ll Make an Impact** + **Responsiblefor the condition diagnosis of air-cooled generators of various types anddesigns with an output between 15 to 300 MVA on reginal North Americaservice projects.** + **Performinspection of all main components of the machine (stator, rotor,excitation, bearings) and auxiliary equipment (e.g. cooler) according todefined criteria.** + **Carryout electrical diagnostic measurements (measurement of windingresistances, insulation resistances, diode tests, etc.) on high and lowvoltage windings and evaluate them in accordance with relevant standards.** + **Preparingand presenting the findings for external customers and internal contractpartners.** + **Workingtogether with Service Engineering to develop optimization and repairrecommendations.** + **Supportingproject management and service sales in achieving strategic sales targets;remote technical support when not on field assignment.** **What You Bring** + **Completedstudies in electrical engineering, preferably in the field of electricalmachines / power engineering, or comparable electrical engineeringtraining is preferred.** + **Strongcommunication, presentation, and technical consulting skills.** + **Strongservice approach and the ability to work and prioritize in a fast-pacedenvironment.** + **Ideally,you already have professional experience in the design, manufacture, ormaintenance of electrical machines / generators.** + **Experiencein fact finding on electrical machines, carrying out and evaluatingelectrical measurements is desirable.** + **Verygood written and spoken German and English skills.** **All candidates must be authorized or able to obtainauthorization to work in the United States.** **About the Team** **Our Transformation of Industry division isdecarbonizing the industrial sector.
