The Facility Vendor Management Analyst and Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the performance, compliance, and relationships of third-party vendors that support facility operations. This role ensures that all vendors meet service level agreements (SLAs), safety standards, and budgetary requirements while supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the organization’s facilities.
This position is part of the Cepheid Facilities department located in Sunnyvale, CA, and will be an on-site role in either Sunnyvale, CA or Bothell, WA.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Serve as a point of contact for facility-related vendors (e.g., janitorial, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and security) by coordinating maintenance, repairs, and upgrades across all facilities.
Manage purchase requisitions/orders, expenses, and maintenance/repair work orders to ensure timely resolution of service requests.
Collaborate with facility and finance teams to develop and maintain financial plans, forecasts, and budgets for facility projects and initiatives.
Work closely with accounting group to resolve questions & issues as part of the monthly close process.
Participate in facility budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and reliable financial data and analysis. Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and financial performance metrics, to senior management and stakeholders.
The essential requirements of the job include
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
At least 3 years of experience in finance and site services
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Certified Facility Manager (CFM) and OSHA Certification is a plus.
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a plus
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in a Facility Manufacturing role. Strong understanding of financial principles, with the ability to analyze the financial implications of technology investments.
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis tools.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
