**SUMMARY** The Facility Technician I is responsible for performing operational tasks including drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, offloading vans in compliance with DOT segregation requirements, filter press operations, and proper inventory warehousing. This role ensures all paperwork is completed and submitted for accurate waste tracking. The position requires teamwork, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to maintain production efficiency while supporting regulatory compliance. **Schedule & Pay:** **Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | $20.00/hour** **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Perform basic operations including drum movement, drum opening, tank farm truck loading/unloading, filter press operations, and proper inventory warehousing. Meet/exceed production goals. (60%) + Operate a forklift as needed, performing and documenting daily safety checks prior to use. (10%) + Complete and submit all paperwork associated with waste tracking movements. (10%) + Ensure understanding and ownership of area-specific permit compliance standards. (10%) + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. (10%) + Perform other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** + **Education & Experience:** + High School diploma or equivalent (required) + 0–3 years of relevant experience; alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted + **Certificates & Licenses:** + 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training (required) + Forklift training (preferred) + **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:** + Ability to work effectively in a team environment + Experience using scanning applications for dumping and pumping + Strong organizational and multitasking skills + Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception + Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and safely operate forklifts + Capable of performing pushups, deep knee squats, and sit-ups as part of physical readiness + **Other Requirements:** + Travel <10% + No supervisory responsibilities + Medium work: Frequent standing (4–6 hours), occasional pushing/pulling, maximum lifting of 50 lbs **CLEAN HARBORS EEO** Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.
