Facility Technician
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Facility Technician. This role will take place out of our facility in Hodges, SC. As the Facility Technician you will lead and execute projects focused on maintaining and enhancing plant infrastructure. You will assess and implement requirements for equipment, materials, and processes to optimize facility operations. Responsibilities include identifying and resolving technical issues, managing procurement for maintenance needs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing Engineering, ATS, Human Resources, and MESH to support broader facility objectives. Additionally, you will oversee tool repair and organization for the site. This role also supports facility improvement projects from planning through execution. The expected annual salary range for this role is $53253.0 - $78104.4 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you’ll do:** + Execute prescribed maintenance, calibration, certification, and inspections using parts sheets, specifications, and drawings made. + Set up and perform electrical and mechanical tests to ensure that the product's repair and/or work performed conforms to prescribed quality standards and is safe for customers. + Track spare parts inventory and order replacements as needed to ensure they are readily available for repairs. + Keep records of parts used and provide data for billing and/or warranty information. + Engage with end users to understand product service needs, provide updates on repair progress, answer questions, and address concerns. + Maintain proficiency on the current line of products through training to drive productivity and high-level quality of repair while engaging in training on new products to expand capabilities and enhance technical skills. + Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills for dealing with end users and customers. + Offer instruction and support to end users on proper equipment usage and basic troubleshooting procedures. + Support the organization and repair of tools. **Required (Basic) Qualifications:** + An Associates Degree in Engineering with 2 years of manufacturing experience **OR** a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. + Eaton will not consider applicants for employment, immigration sponsorship, or support for this position.
