Come build your career with us! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Participates in strategic discussion and decision making with expertise in engineering, facility, construction, and campus management. Provides leadership for construction, engineering, environment of care, ambulatory care, business occupancy designated sites including grounds, life safety, and facility related regulatory compliance. Sites include healthcare, ambulatory care and business occupancy sites. Provides a safe and compliant environment for all building occupants. Serves as manager of day to day operations. **These duties include hand on maintenance work for approximately 25% of the Manager's time.** Functions as an integrated facility management team member with Mission Health System (MHS) Facilities Division. Works in collaboration with all hospital areas involved in the environment of care. Essential Accountabilities: + Manages the daily operation of the hospital and off campus facilities that is aligned with MHS vision, mission, goals, and objectives. May also have daily management responsibilities for some or all of the following departments: EVS, Biomed, Security, Laundry, Property Management/Real Estate. + Overseas the financial management for area(s) + Manages departmental operations to ensure area meets or exceeds the expectations of customers (Patients, visitors, providers, and staff). + Administers daily operations to ensure processes are efficient, effective in meeting department/service line goals/ objectives, and adherence to facility regulatory requirements. + Provides departmental leadership through direct mentoring and periodic meetings to ensure collaboration with all Hospital Facility Service departments in coordination with all MHS facilities. + Participates in leadership growth and development. **What qualifications you will need:** **Required Education:** Associates degree or combined education and experience equivalency. **Preferred Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a strongly related area or substantial engineering work experience that is equivalent. **Required Experience:** Ten years of Technical and managerial experience in engineering or related field. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, internet and intranet software, email. **Preferred Experience:** Database software, Computer Aided Design, 5 years as Director of Facilities/ Construction in a hospital.
