Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking an experienced Facility Manager for our new location in Schaumburg, IL, opening in early 2026! Facility Manager Reports to: General Manager/Assistant General Managers POSITION OVERVIEW The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing all building operations to maintain the excellent condition, safety, and functionality of the AIKG infrastructure. This role supervises utility personnel and collaborates closely with the kart mechanics team. The Facility Manager must communicate effectively with management, staff, and vendors, serving as a leader who motivates and develops team members while fostering a culture of ownership and accountability. Additionally, the Facility Manager upholds the high-quality and ethical standards of AIKG, proudly representing the Andretti brand. AIKG locations feature high-speed, high-tech indoor Karting on multilevel tracks, multi-player immersive Virtual Reality Simulators, Arcade fun, and amazing restaurants & event spaces featuring scratch cocktails and culinary creations crafted in our kitchens. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead team members with integrity and purpose Consistently uphold the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games motto: “Striving for Perfection; Achieving Excellence” Manage and oversee painting and patching projects Coordinate and execute basic plumbing and electrical repairs Maintain equipment and supplies to comply with health and safety standards Conduct building analysis and forecast maintenance needs Inspect structural elements of the building on a weekly basis Supervise the design and maintenance of facility grounds and landscaping Log and track inspection dates and maintenance performed on equipment Coordinate intra-office moves efficiently Review and verify work completed by external vendors and contractors Respond promptly to facility and equipment alarms or system failures Advise on and monitor initiatives to improve energy efficiency Develop and coordinate key performance goals for functions and direct reports Collaborate closely with general managers to oversee staffing, training, employee relations, maintenance, and facility organization Ensure site reviews consistently meet established standards Continuously Promote safety and sanitation practices throughout the facility QUALIFICATIONS Required: Eligible to work in the U.S. At least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Energetic and guest-focused with a commitment to operational excellence Preferred: Two years of facility management experience in a high-volume environment Proven leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff at all levels Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays Basic proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office programs Ability to thrive in and contribute to a team-oriented business environment Skilled in financial analysis and assessment Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational abilities Working knowledge of cost control principles Solid background in training and staff development Benefits: Salary from $55,000 - $65,000 AIKG has the BEST staff, so managers work with and lead motivated professionals!
