What You'll Do Perform intermediate-level maintenance and repair work on physical structures, mechanical systems, utilities, HVAC components, and facility grounds. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment and building issues to ensure safe, continuous operations. Use a variety of hand and power tools to support daily maintenance needs. Follow safety, regulatory, and customer service standards to provide a remarkable experience for patients, visitors, and team members. Work collaboratively with Plant Engineering Services leadership and facility staff to maintain a clean, safe, and functional care environment. Complete department-specific competencies and skills validations as required. What We're Looking For Education High School Diploma or GED, required. Experience Two years of plant operations or general maintenance experience in a healthcare facility or similar work environment, required. Four years of experience in a similar environment, preferred. Licensure Valid driver’s license, required. Required Skills Ability to meet departmental competency and skill standards. Strong customer service mindset with the ability to work well with individuals at all levels. Ability to use common hand and power tools safely and effectively. Commitment to teamwork and supporting a safe care environment. Preferred Skills Broad knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Familiarity with reading blueprints and electrical schematics. Understanding of building, fire, and electrical codes, as well as Joint Commission Environment of Care standards.
