**99774BR** **Job Title:** Facility Maintenance - Forsyth, MO **Department/Function:** Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, Utilities **Job Description:** **Facility Maintenance - Forsyth, MO** The Facility Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems and equipment. This role supports a safe, clean, and efficient working environment by performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs across the facility. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** Attendance is key to performing the job. + Perform routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues. + Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. + Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. + Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or projects. + Assist in facility upgrades, renovations, and space planning as needed. + Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and place orders when necessary. + Support emergency preparedness and response efforts, including snow removal, storm cleanup, and power outages. **EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:** + High school diploma or GED required, technical certification or associate degree preferred. + 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field. + Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. + Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics. + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Basic computer skills for logging work orders and maintenance records. + Valid driver’s license (if applicable). **LANGUAGE SKILLS:** + Ability to read, comprehend and dictate simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos. + Ability to write simple correspondence. + Ability to effectively present information verbally and physically at different levels of comprehension in one-on-one and group situations. **MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:** + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. **REASONING ABILITY:** + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram forms. **OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:** + OSHA certification or knowledge of workplace safety standards. + Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and working in confined spaces. + Ability to be on your feet all day. + Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. **WORK ENVIRONMENT:** + Indoor and outdoor work environments. + Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. + May require occasional evening or weekend work for emergencies or special projects. + Other duties may be assigned by management.
