What this job involves: We're seeking a motivated Facility & Lab Coordinator to join our JLL team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to build your career in laboratory operations while gaining valuable experience in research and development environments. As the primary point of contact for facility and lab maintenance activities, you'll ensure smooth daily operations while delivering exceptional service.

 

What your day-to-day will look like: 

Manage front desk operations, greeting customers and visitors professionallyProvide specific service recommendations and coordinate support between departmentsOversee package deliveries and provide backup support for mailroom operationsAddress facilities and laboratory service inquiries promptly and professionallyMaintain inventory of lab supplies, chemicals, and maintenance materialsConduct regular lab inspections to ensure cleanliness and organization standardsSupport facilities team with maintenance scheduling and coordinationLiaise with vendors and service providers, including escorting when requiredHandle documentation, recordkeeping, and data entry tasksProcess access card requests and assist with mail distribution

 

Desired or Preferred Experience and Technical Skills 

Associate's degreeFamiliarity with laboratory environments or scientific settingsPrevious experience in customer-facing rolesKnowledge of basic laboratory safety practicesExperience with inventory management systemsExposure to facilities management concepts

 

Required Skills and Experience

High school diploma0–1-year experience in laboratory, facilities, hospitality, or customer serviceDemonstrated interest in science, laboratory operations, or facility managementStrong customer service orientation with excellent communication skillsEffective organizational abilities and time managementAdaptability and eagerness to learn new technologiesTeam-oriented with collaborative approachProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsCommitment to continuous improvement

 

This position offers comprehensive on-the-job training and development opportunities to build valuable skills in laboratory and facilities management.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

5,000,000.00 – 70,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
