Facility Group Leader
**Job Title: Facility Group Leader** **Job Description** As a Facility Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading a Union Facility Group in a automotive manufacturing setting. Your role involves overseeing trades workers who specialize in HVAC, plumbing, millwright, painting, and electrical repairs. You will manage repairs, scheduling, and ordering, spending approximately 70% of your time on the floor and 30% on office and computer work. This is a first shift position, with hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. **Responsibilities** + Oversee and manage a team of trades workers in HVAC, plumbing, millwright, painting, and electrical repairs. + Coordinate repairs, scheduling, and ordering materials and supplies. + Ensure adherence to metrics, attendance, and customer service standards. + Walk the facility floor to supervise and support trades workers. + Utilize computer skills to manage administrative tasks including using Microsoft Teams, Office, Email, and Excel. **Essential Skills** + Experience in facility maintenance with strong mechanical aptitude. + Proven leadership or supervisory skills, including holding team members accountable. + Direct management experience of trades personnel. + Valid driver's license. + Proficient in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Teams, Office, Email, and Excel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Maximo or similar maintenance software is highly preferred. + Union experience is beneficial for understanding and adhering to union contracts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $36.06/hr.
