About this opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager of Facility Engineering Projects Coordination, the Facility Engineering Projects (FEP) Data Coordinator serves as the subject matter expert on the data that underpins our work processes in CTCHO. This role manages and enhances Spotfire dashboards, develops new data tools, KPIs, and translates data into actionable insights for stakeholders across CTCHO. The position involves collaboration with stakeholders to drive accountability, advance projects, and continuously improve our work processes.
This role can be located out of Calgary or Lloydminster.
What you’ll do:
Maintain and enhance existing Spotfire reporting dashboards and KPIs.
Work with stakeholders to develop new data tools, visualizations and KPIs to support decision-making and process health.
Demonstrate strong analytical skills and/or a keen interest in growing data capabilities.
Lead and support initiatives that span multiple teams and departments in CTCHO.
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., Facility Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Construction).
Influence and guide teams toward actionable solutions using the data and dashboards.
Design and implement efficient work processes and workflows.
Write clear, concise documentation and communications to support adoption and sustainment of processes/tools.
Facilitate workshops or working sessions to align stakeholders and close process gaps.
Who you are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Post secondary education or diploma.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in oil & gas and/or data analytics.
Experience with data visualization tools (Spotfire, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and Data Platforms like Databricks.
Professional Engineering designation is an asset.
Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) is an asset.
Experience with SAP is an asset.
