Facility/EHS Manager Details:
Direct Hire position$100,000.00 /annuallyFirst Shift (Monday through Friday)• Responsible for scheduling and supervising subcontractors and maintenance workers engaged in upkeep and repair, safety and security, ergonomics, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and ventilation services.
• Responsible for the repair, maintenance and operation of all equipment, furnishings, systems and building components of centers.
• Manage the facility's budgets, including maintenance and staffing
• Provides oversight, procurement, and management of necessary facilities needs including MRO items.
• Conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
• Supervise staff and facilities service providers including maintenance, cleaning, and security teams
• Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
• Evaluates the need for and arranges training sessions (bloodborne pathogens, CalOSHA, MSDS, and other job-related training)
• Ensure the facility has emergency generators, power systems, and material handling equipment/systems that are operational.
• Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs
• Fire system oversight and management
• Develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management.
• Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.
• Oversee the surveillance and control of all environmental hazards including asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and lead-based paint (LBP)
Facility/EHS Manager Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, building trades, or related field and five or more years of progressive responsibility in a facility and safety leadership role with three or more years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in operational and strategic planning as well as budget development
• Experienced in building systems, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, locksmith, refrigeration, lighting, fire protection systems, carpentry and other areas required to keep facilities in perfect working order.
• In-depth knowledge of CalOSHA guidelines and practices.
• Facilities management certifications such as CFM, FMP, or FMC and EHS certifications such as CSHM, CSP, CPE, IOSH, ASP a plus
