ABOUT THE ROLE:

This individual will be responsible for but not limited to the maintaining of the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center.


Hourly Pay Range: $24 - $26/hour

Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday / 10pm - 6:30am (Night Shift)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Experience with Distribution and/or commercial building maintenance,General roof inspections (Roof Drains, Exhaust fans, AC, Roof membrane)LandscapingPlumbingPaintingCarpentryLightingKnowledge of electricity and electric control panels (Any training or schooling a plus)Drywall installation and repairConcrete repairs & coatingsHigh bay rackingRoll up doorsJanitorial requirements and supplies (good housekeeping)Building safety and safety for all personnel   Ability to identify facility needs and or potential problem areasAbility to use all shop tools

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

Must be CAL OSHA certified on a Reach and/or Order Picker/Walker Rider equipment, etc.Ability to keep the department OSHA CompliantExtensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures with an emphasis on safetyCommunicate with upper management on a daily basisAbility to take directives from Maintenance ManagerGood oral and written communication skillsMust be detail oriented,Perform housekeeping duties when needed,Must be able to take constructive criticismAbility to work in a professional and courteous manner at all times,Must be able to perform any other special projects and general requests made by direct supervisor as neededAbility to contribute hands onWork with minimal supervision

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred4-5+ years in Maintenance; specific knowledge of scanners, print & apply machines a plus

Pay Range $24 - $26 an hour
