**Now Hiring: Facilities Technician – New Britain, CT**
**Pay:** $17.00 per hour | Full-Time | Approximately 40 Hours per Week

This position requires maintaining equipment and facilities in compliance with all applicable regulations and company preventive maintenance programs.

**Facilities Technician Responsibilities**
+ Inspect and repair facility components and systems under general supervision
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and facility systems
+ Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
+ Complete minor mechanical repairs and assist with installation of new systems or components
+ Maintain facility cleanliness including offices, restrooms, and common areas
+ Support yard and outdoor maintenance as needed
+ Ensure proper handling and disposal of non-hazardous and hazardous materials
+ Maintain equipment in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
+ Identify and report safety hazards, ensuring a safe working environment
+ Assist with general facility upkeep tasks as assigned by management
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ 1–2 years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred
+ Broad knowledge of maintenance disciplines including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
+ Ability to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
+ Good communication and teamwork skills
+ Electrician or welding experience/licensing is a plus
**Physical Requirements & Working Conditions**
+ Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as required
+ Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment or materials as needed
+ Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with maintenance and repair work
