Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and technical support industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting engineering, manufacturing, and office teams. The ideal candidate will have reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Facilities Technician
**Location:** Austin, Texas
**Pay Range:** $24
**Shift:** Monday through Friday
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep
+ Conduct preventative maintenance and facility inspections
+ Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues efficiently
+ Work with other trades and external contractors on facility repairs and improvement projects
+ Assist with office moves, workstation setups, and space reconfigurations
**What's Needed?**
+ 2+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or a related role
+ Working knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
+ Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
+ Good communication and customer service skills
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely
